Michael Beesley

Michael is Vice President and CTO of the Mass-Scale Infrastructure Group leading technical direction, architectural transition, solution architecture and roadmap planning for Cisco’s SP networking portfolio. He drives Cisco’s leadership position in core, edge, aggregation and access routing, mobility, cable, optics and optical networking and automation software solutions in collaboration with partners, customers, internal cross-functional leaders and the industry in reinventing the mass-scale networks of the future.

Prior to rejoining Cisco in February 2018, Michael was co-founder and CTO of Skyport Systems, developing cloud managed, on premise, virtualized compute platforms with security, ease of use, and always-on analytics built in. Before Skyport, Michael served as engineering CTO at Juniper Networks, leading new architectures, embedded software evolution and silicon roadmap development across the router, switch and Wi-Fi portfolios.

Michael has held many senior technical leadership roles at both Cisco and Juniper and was a key contributor to many successful product lines and technology including C7200, C12000, M40, T640, JUNOS, ASR1K and IOS-XE. Michael holds CS and Math degrees from Trinity College, Dublin, is a named inventor on many networking related patents, is a frequent speaker at industry events, and often shares his thoughts through Twitter (@mjbeesley), LinkedIn (michaeljbeesley) and blogs.

Masum Mir is Vice President of Product Management for Cisco’s Service Provider Cable and Mobility business responsible for strategy, product & technical marketing. His current focus area is on building 5G, Network Automation, SP Cloud and Orchestration solutions, technology, and product line. He brings more than 20 years of experience working in different capacities in the Networking and Telecommunication Industry. Masum received his bachelors (BSC) in Electrical Engineering from Middle East Technical University and executive education (SEC) from Stanford Graduate School of Business.

Bob Everson

Senior Director

Cisco Networking: Provider Mobility

Bob Everson is the Senior Director - 5G Architecture for Cisco Systems; leading strategy, architecture, technology, and systems development. In this role he is responsible for defining and developing mobile network solutions across both the service provider and enterprise domains.

Bob’s experience spans diverse areas including early work in large-scale IP networking and massive-scale data center architectures, to more recent focus on secure software-defined mobile networks, 5G systems and applications, and Open Virtual RAN systems. Throughout his career, he has remained keenly focused on finding the optimal intersection between innovative technologies, the broader systems they impact, and the businesses that are built on them. He is a frequent speaker at industry events and loves getting outside perspectives to calibrate his thinking.

Matt Price

Matt Price is Vice President for Cisco’s Subscriber Engineering and Mobility. Matt and his accomplished team innovate and operate the technology and solutions that propel the 5G and Mobile IoT networks. Matt leads the engineering team in building and developing IoT software on prem and cloud services. His group is composed of development, cloud operations, escalations and security teams that maintain 24/7 services to our clients. These industry leading innovations provide communication services to reimagine and accelerate the future of 5G.

John Dorval

John Dorval is Senior Vice President of Americas Service Provider – serving major companies in Web, Media, Cable, Telco, and Mobile across the United States, Canada, and Latin America.

John and his team are bringing the full power of Cisco technologies to deliver solutions for Service Providers who are navigating major industry transitions and leading the shift to a hybrid world.

With the company 25 years, he has served in senior sales leadership roles for many of Cisco’s largest accounts in North America. Throughout his tenure, he has led large and highly complex organizations through significant industry transitions and is known for his expertise in go-to-market and customer success strategies.

Prior to Cisco, John held sales roles at MCI Telecommunications and MAI Basic Four.

John is deeply committed to development, inclusion, and representation. He has held leadership roles on several committees, including Women in Cable and Telecommunications, Covenant House, and the Boys and Girls Club of America.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and marketing from Montclair State University. He lives in New Jersey with his wife, and they have two grown children.
